With the rise of programmatic advertising in the Internet world, Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) is now a hot topic in OTT. But while the aim of targeting is the same, the technical architecture that enables DAI is completely different.
Yet it is not as complicated as you might think. It can be broken down into four components:
- First: Ad enabling
- Second: Ad stitching
- Third: Ad bidding
- Fourth: Ad reporting.
Orchestrating and optimising these elements is what delivers efficient, effective and monetisable DAI.
